Meet The Secretariat

Secretary Generals

Secretary General
Maggie McBride

I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of new people and form new connections through MUN, as well as to learn about and experience the world from a viewpoint entirely different from our own. The fact that MUN is more than just an academic simulation and gives students the chance to discuss a range of global issues while developing a variety of skills is one of the most important things about Model UN, an experience which I hope QEGS-MUN can also offer. I genuinely hope that this conference will give you everyone the chance to fully appreciate Model UN. We look forward to seeing you all, in November!

Decision-making, problem-solving, and public-speaking are just a small number of attributes MUN may offer and develop; tools that will prove to be crucial for the future. I commend each and every delegate for making the decision to participate in this conference, as I know well how daunting it can be. MUN is a source of enjoyable moments that will live on in our memories, culminating in a tiring yet incredibly enjoyable and valuable experience. As a member of the Secretariat this year, I am looking forward to the conference and hope that we can all work together and have an enlightening two days. I cannot wait to see you all in November!
